This is a year-round program providing Financial Literacy workshops. This is a project-based learning experience where individuals will be provided resources, guidance, and intellectual tools to understand the need for self-sufficiency and finance fundamentals. All to assist them in navigating the real world. Our Financial Literacy course teaches participants that they are also a business. It takes a brand, a brain, a network, and a structure to reach any goal - especially ones that are bigger than oneself. One of the many tools to success in life is an understanding of how to make money, use money, and most importantly, how to maintain money. In other words, having a strong financial foundation. First on a personal level, in everyday life, and then on a professional level, in the world of business. This course is designed to instill financial fundamentals that will put participants on the path to mastering the cycle of money.
We cover the following topics: value and purpose of money, self-sufficiency (wants vs needs), bank accounts, investing, budgeting, revenue, expenses, profit, and more!
Participant-instructor relationships are prioritized to help foster a respectful, efficient, and conducive experience
Participants are involved in different projects throughout the weeks to create a hands-on learning environment
All sessions are conducted differently, as personalities and learning abilities are unique and may also alter from one session to the next
Sessions are available privately at “home” (1-1) and collaboratively in group or classroom settings. Both are offered in person and virtually
All coaches are college educated or possess a degree in a related field, have experience working with children, are given background checks, and go through mandatory coaching prior to working with participants
